Virtual Internship Programme

My internship at ISAIL began in July 2024 and it has been no less than a whirlwind of new concepts and learning experiences. Each week started with a session led by Abhivardhan sir, where he introduced to us an alien topic and dissected it beautifully, making the complexities of the topic easier to comprehend. His patience and understanding answering our amateur questions has been invaluable throughout the journey.
Although I have always had a strong interest in technology law, hence my choice to intern at ISAIL, this internship opened my eyes to areas and concepts of law I had yet to explore. I'm deeply grateful to ISAIL for making this journey so enriching and full of knowledge.

The Call for Research Interns is Closed.

Under a research collaboration with VLiGTA, the research & innovation division of Indic Pacific Legal Research LLP, ISAIL had opened the call (in 2023) to invite law students (undergraduate and postgraduate) in their respective fields of law and public policy to apply to be recruited as a Research Intern.

The Virtual Internship Programme has been discontinued after 5 years.

The Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law (ISAIL.IN) is an artificial intelligence industry forum, founded by Abhivardhan in 2018. Our mission as an independent, not-for-profit industry forum for the analytics & AI industry in India is to promote responsible development of artificial intelligence and its standardisation in India.

Enforcing AI standards in the Indian and Indo-Pacific markets is hard. And yet, ISAIL.IN intends to document data and inputs associated with the market tendencies around three facets of artificial intelligence: its adoption, research around it, and its real-life policy implications across as many sectors as possible.

This is why, the AiStandard.io Alliance, administered by ISAIL.IN, intends to establish an allies of AI entities in India, Asia and the Global South, to develop market-friendly AI standards, with sector-specific, and sector-neutral contexts.
