In collaboration with VLiGTA, ISAIL has opened up to accept calls for membership.
We invite lawyers, entrepreneurs, public policy professionals, technology scientists and developers to join our community.
Step 1
Head over to isail.in/test and take the Membership Eligibility Test to see if you qualify!

Step 4
If you're a good fit based on your profile and test results, you'll be approved as a member. After approval, complete the payment and you'll receive a certificate of membership from the Secretariat.
Step 2
You're one step closer to becoming a member! To apply, simply send your test score screenshot and Profile/CV/Resume to akash@isail.co.in.
Step 3
You are also required to specify ideas, solutions or specific points as to why are you interested in becoming an ISAIL Ordinary Member, in direct reference to ISAIL's by-laws and initiatives. It's better you send a Statement of Purpose - and specify it in the email when you send us the application.

Eligibility Criteria
Original Criteria as of January 12, 2023
Only the following are eligible to become the ordinary members of the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law:

Indian or Foreign Nationals, who possess a government identification document

Professionals in the fields of law, technology and public policy (must be graduates)

Based on the recommendations of VLiGTA and our office bearers, we may request applicants to voluntarily submit a government-issued ID for identity verification and security purposes.
​
However, in accordance with data protection norms in India or the applicant's place of residence, applicants have the right to refuse this request.
​
Membership requests will be evaluated and decided upon as per the Guidelines on Presence and Activities in Online Groups and Workspaces (https://isail.in/guidelines) and other relevant by-laws of the Trust, in compliance with Indian laws. Memberships are subject to annual renewal.
