Virtual Internship Programme
During my internship at ISAIL, I had the privilege of delving into the fascinating intersection of blockchain, law, and digital finance. My primary focus was on exploring the transformative potential of decentralized technologies, particularly Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and blockchain, in shaping the digital economy. This research culminated in a discussion paper titled "Decentralized Solutions: Exploring Distributed Ledger Technology and Blockchain's Role in the Digital Economy."
Throughout my internship, I engaged in rigorous analysis of regulatory policies surrounding blockchain, examining their potential to enhance transparency and efficiency in financial transactions. I found the discussions on the evolving role of decentralized technologies in law and finance particularly stimulating. Engaging with diverse perspectives broadened my understanding of both the opportunities and challenges associated with blockchain adoption across various industries.
This internship significantly enhanced my skills in policy analysis, legal research, and the interplay between technology and law in today's world. The mentorship and guidance I received were instrumental in shaping my research and fostering my interest in the burgeoning field of blockchain and decentralized systems. This experience has solidified my commitment to exploring the transformative potential of these technologies in shaping the future of the digital economy.
The Call for Research Interns is Closed.
Under a research collaboration with VLiGTA, the research & innovation division of Indic Pacific Legal Research LLP, ISAIL had opened the call (in 2023) to invite law students (undergraduate and postgraduate) in their respective fields of law and public policy to apply to be recruited as a Research Intern.
