Proud to announce that Sagar Singamsetty has joined the ISAIL Advisory Council, where he will support our work on AI-driven transformation in mobility, space and aviation as part of India’s first dedicated AI industry forum for law, policy and innovation. With an academic foundation in air and space law from Leiden and sustained engagement with cutting-edge aerospace regulation and transport-sector policy, Sagar brings a distinctive perspective on how AI will reshape everything from autonomous mobility and multimodal logistics to next-generation satellite and aviation ecosystems.
Over the last two decades, Sagar has operated at the interface of business, regulation and technology across Europe and India, handling complex issues such as international aviation compliance, air network operations, export controls, sanctions, environmental standards and emerging space law challenges. This experience equips him to help ISAIL and its partners translate responsible AI principles into concrete standards, templates and best practices for companies and institutions working in highly regulated mobility and aerospace domains.
At ISAIL, Sagar will contribute to our broader agenda on AI standardisation and governance for the Global South, complementing the AiStandard.io Alliance’s efforts to develop practical, industry-aligned frameworks for AI deployment in critical infrastructure and transport. His advisory role will also involve engaging with practitioners, startups and policymakers to ensure that innovation in AI, mobility, space and aviation is backed by robust, globally conversant yet locally grounded legal and policy thinking.
The ISAIL Secretariat welcomes Sagar Singamshetty to the Advisory Council and looks forward to collaborating with him on research, consultations and community initiatives that will shape the next decade of AI adoption in aviation and space, from safety and security to sustainability and access for emerging markets. His presence reflects ISAIL’s continued commitment to bringing together technologists, legal thinkers and industry leaders who can help script a more inclusive, standards-driven and future-ready AI story for India and the Indo-Pacific.
