ISAIL.IN x IrysAI hosted an AI Policy Meetup in Central Lucknow


On August 18, 2026, Irys, Legal AI and the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law hosted a frank and open-ended meetup on AI and Indian policy landscape in Central Lucknow.


We are glad that Devansh Devansh co-hosted this meetup with us, and have had multiple research, academic and technical stakeholders in the meetup from Central Uttar Pradesh, including Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Adv. Nisha Singh, Areena Kausar, Naveen Pandey and others.

We also discussed the recently launched UP.AIACT.IN Report 2026, whose forewords were graced by Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Vice-Chancellor at Nalanda University & Dr Pitabas Mohanty, Professor, XLRI Jamshedpur and was introduced by Rupak Chattopadhyay, President and CEO, Forum of Federations, Canada.

The Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law is an artificial intelligence industry forum, founded by Abhivardhan in 2018. Our mission as a not-for-profit industry forum for the analytics & AI industry in India is to promote responsible development of artificial intelligence and its standardisation in India.

Since 2022, the research operations of the Society have been subsumed under VLiGTA® by Indic Pacific Legal Research.
