ISAIL and UNU Global AI Network Collaborated for a Network Dialogue on AI Governance Localisation

With utmost happiness, excitement and calm satisfaction, we announce the completion of a successful Network Dialogue with the UNU Global AI Network (a part of United Nations University) we had this Friday, this week, under the leadership of ISAIL President Abhivardhan.

What was the session about?


Well, we discussed a simple question.


AI adoption will increase or decrease globally, but even then, what could be the possible strategies for AI governance that can be adopted?

This is what we discussed in 5 phases:


1️⃣ Sovereignty & Interoperability

2️⃣ Proportionality in Governance

3️⃣ Essential Protective Functions

4️⃣ Distributed Oversight Models (Subsidiarity in regulatory implementation)

5️⃣ Technological Relevance (governance must address actual technological capabilities rather than theoretical possibilities)
