Ayushi Agarwal

Ayushi Agarwal is an AI researcher and entrepreneur who has spent over 12 years building language models, speech technologies, and multilingual AI systems, with work spanning early-stage research to systems used by millions of people. She currently works on interpretability in AI and on bringing AI to populations that don't currently have access to it.

Earlier in her career, she led AI teams that set world records in speech recognition and language understanding. Her work also powered healthcare, e-commerce, and supply chain applications that reached millions of users across multiple languages, and extended into causal reasoning research for clinical AI.

She holds multiple patents, has authored over 13 research papers, and won the 2024 Global Award from the WomenTech Network for her contributions to responsible AI development. She serves as Co-Chairperson of the ISAIL Global Advisory Council.
