Arunabh Mitra

Arunabh is a seasoned leader overseeing comprehensive risk management programs at HCL Tech, encompassing Business Continuity, Crisis Management, ESG, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Operational Risk. In his role as Chief Continuity Officer, he spearheads initiatives to embed resilience across HCL Tech's global operations, spanning 60+ countries. With a distinguished career at General Electric and Genpact, where he served as Global Head of Business Continuity, Arunabh brings a wealth of experience in driving continuity and crisis management.

Enthusiastic about fostering a more resilient world, Arunabh actively engages with global communities through public speaking, academic writing, and volunteerism to amplify the conversation on this topic amidst today's challenges—an endeavor that deeply fulfills him. Arunabh holds a Ph.D. in Systemic Disaster Risks from Keio University, Japan. He is also member of the RIMS Regional Advisory Group for South Asia and the founding Chair of the BCI India Future Practice Group.

Since the beginning of his career, Arunabh has believed that embracing change and reinventing oneself leads to professional growth, inspiring him to take on different roles and push his limits, shaping the professional he is today. On a personal level, he deeply believes in the transformative power of life experiences to catalyze inner growth, and therefore has consistently embraced pivotal moments as opportunities for evolution, drawing from firsthand lessons learned throughout his life's journey.
