Since 1996, his work has spanned over 50 countries, providing an insider's perspective on the architecture of fiat monetary systems—structures he recognizes as brilliant in design yet increasingly fragile, extractive, and disconnected from the communities they serve. His exploration of cryptocurrency revealed similar centralization patterns, leading him to describe it as "a heat sink engineered by the same monetary superstructure it claimed to disrupt."

Since 2020, Anup has focused on building commerce-integrated, digitally governed, shared-value economies using nested network designs—systems with no centers, no gatekeepers, and no owners of the money supply. These frameworks enable communities to create their own regenerative economic engines.
