Welcoming New Distinguished Experts and Emerging Specialists in the ISAIL Advisory Council

The Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law (ISAIL) is delighted to announce the induction of five exceptional professionals into our Advisory Council, as per Schedule 3 of the Bharat Pacific Charter. These individuals—Vivek Doulatani, Dinesh Koya Nelamuru, and Nandhakumar KS as Distinguished Experts, and Sankalp Srivastava and Ankit Raj Srivastava as Emerging Specialists—bring unparalleled expertise and vision to ISAIL’s mission of advancing responsible AI governance, legal frameworks, and ethical innovation. Their inclusion strengthens our global advisory body, enhancing our ability to address the multifaceted challenges of AI and emerging technologies.
Purpose of the Advisory Council
The ISAIL Advisory Council serves as the cornerstone of our strategic vision, guiding ISAIL’s research, policy advocacy, and interdisciplinary initiatives. Comprising global thought leaders in law, technology, policy, and strategic affairs, the council ensures evidence-based, forward-thinking solutions to AI’s legal and ethical implications. The addition of these new members aligns with ISAIL’s commitment to fostering innovation, inclusivity, and global collaboration, particularly in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
Distinguished Experts
Vivek Doulatani

Founder and CEO of Blu Halo, Vivek Doulatani is a trailblazer in intellectual property (IP) management, empowering startups and mid-sized companies with sustainable IP strategies. With a remarkable background spanning roles at CSIR (URDIP), Ather Energy—where he established the IP department for India’s first smart electric scooter—and Micelio Mobility, Vivek brings deep expertise in technology-driven IP portfolios. An inventor with 18 patent applications (10 granted), he holds advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Intellectual Property, and Space & Telecommunication Law. His insights will elevate ISAIL’s focus on AI-related IP frameworks.
Dinesh Koya Nelamuru

A seasoned Aerospace Engineer and Space Policy Specialist, Dinesh Koya Nelamuru brings over 15 years of experience in next-generation space technologies and mission management. Currently leading NanoSAT and MicroSAT programs, he excels in technical, regulatory, and launch management, notably contributing to the Elevation-1 launch with SpaceX (T-12) in collaboration with European partners. As an independent consultant, Dinesh has driven innovations in swarm unmanned munition systems and pneumatic launchers, championing indigenization under India’s “Make in India” initiative. His global expertise will bolster ISAIL’s strategic foresight in AI and space policy.
Nandhakumar KS

An authority in space navigation, space policy, space mining, and space debris implications, Nandhakumar KS is a distinguished expert whose insights will shape ISAIL’s approach to the intersection of AI and space law. His expertise in navigating the complex regulatory and ethical challenges of space technologies will enhance our efforts to develop robust governance frameworks for AI-driven space innovations.
Emerging Specialists
Sankalp Srivastava

A dynamic innovator in the LegalTech space, Sankalp Srivastava is developing cutting-edge solutions such as “Lex Liberalis,” “Schematise,” and “ICAT” at the Proof of Concept and MVP stages. With post-qualification experience in litigation and consulting, his work at Schematise Lex Data Analysis demonstrates a forward-thinking approach to leveraging AI for legal analytics. Sankalp’s contributions will drive ISAIL’s exploration of AI’s transformative potential in legal systems.
Ankit Raj Srivastava

As CEO of Governance Consulting Group (GCG), Ankit Raj Srivastava leads enterprises through complex growth and governance challenges, serving clients from startups to established firms. A Council Member for GLG, he advises Fortune 500 leaders on strategies aligned with evolving market and policy landscapes. Ankit’s passion for career development and actionable insights will enrich ISAIL’s mission to empower organizations with sustainable AI governance solutions.
Satvik Pendyala

An Asia security researcher specializing in South Asia, China, and the maritime Indo-Pacific, Satvik Pendyala will also serve in ISAIL’s Strategic Affairs Committee. With intermediate fluency in Mandarin Chinese, beginner fluency in Hindi, and native fluency in Telugu, he combines strong qualitative skills in history and risk analysis with quantitative expertise from a physics background. Satvik has assisted companies in navigating regulatory changes in SPECTRUM management and space situational awareness, and conducted research on Chinese energy policy. Skilled in quantitative analysis, report writing, and geopolitical forecasting, his contributions will strengthen ISAIL’s strategic focus on AI’s role in global security and policy.
