ISAIL.IN and UPAI.space Establish Strategic Partnership to Integrate AI Governance with Grassroots Developer Education


LUCKNOW, INDIA, May 28, 2026 — The Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law (ISAIL.IN) and UPAI.space have established a formal partnership to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence policy frameworks and grassroots technical innovation. This principal-to-principal collaboration aligns ISAIL's legal and ethical standardization objectives with UPAI.space's rapidly expanding developer ecosystem.


Co-founded by Harsh Trivedi and Samarth Mishra, UPAI.space operates as an innovation hub and community network dedicated to democratizing AI education. By connecting students, developers, founders, and researchers through hands-on hackathons and open-knowledge events, UPAI.space has built a strong foundation for localized talent growth and product building, particularly across Uttar Pradesh.


Through this alignment, ISAIL.IN and UPAI.space will work jointly to embed legal tech awareness, AI ethics, and regulatory compliance directly into developer workflows and student projects. The partnership focuses on capacity building, ensuring that the next generation of engineers and founders are equipped not only with the technical skills to build AI infrastructure, but also with the policy understanding required to deploy it responsibly.


By integrating UPAI.space's community-led technological initiatives with ISAIL's expertise in AI governance, data privacy, and legal technology adoption, the two organizations aim to cultivate an ecosystem where responsible AI development is prioritized from the code-level up.
