The Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law (ISAIL) is delighted to announce that Dr. Vignesh Ram Guruswamy has joined our Advisory Council.





Dr. Vignesh Ram is an esteemed Assistant Professor at the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal.

With extensive experience in political and geopolitical risk consulting, as well as a robust academic background, Dr. Vignesh Ram brings invaluable insights and expertise to our organization. His contributions will undoubtedly enhance our mission to advance responsible AI development and governance.

ISAIL Featured at the Curtain Raiser of WAVES Summit 2024

The Indian Society for Artificial Intelligence and Law (ISAIL) proudly participated in the Curtain Raiser event for the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2024.
Representing ISAIL were Kailash Chauhan, Chairperson of the R&D Committee, on behalf of Mr. Abhivardhan, Founder of ISAIL, and Akash Manwani, Secretary-General of ISAIL.


ISAIL is delighted to announce a partnership with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. This collaboration aims to provide valuable insights and support to the AI and business communities in India, ensuring the effective integration of AI technologies within the media and entertainment sectors.


The WAVES Summit, scheduled to take place in Goa from November 20th to 24th, 2024, will coincide with the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).


This event will focus on the Indian media and entertainment industry, bringing together top international media houses and entertainment firms. The event will address various aspects of the sector from an Indian perspective, fostering discussions on innovation, collaboration, and growth.

During the event, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the Government of Goa signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), further solidifying their commitment to advancing the media and entertainment industry in India.


ISAIL looks forward to contributing to the success of WAVES 2024 and supporting the ongoing efforts to position India as a global leader in media and entertainment innovation.


Call for AI Startups to Participate in WAVES Summit 2024


The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India, is interested to have AI startups to actively participate in the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2024. This prestigious event will be held in Goa from November 20th to 24th, 2024, alongside the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).


Opportunities for AI Startups

  • Exhibition/Marketplace Stalls: AI startups are encouraged to showcase their innovative products, services, and achievements by setting up stalls in the exhibition/marketplace space. This platform offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate cutting-edge AI solutions to a global audience, including potential investors and partners.

  • Industry Activities: Engage in activities related to AI within the Summit area. This includes organizing hackathons, open competitions for young talents, and demonstrations of the latest AI technologies. Such activities not only showcase capabilities but also foster innovation and collaboration within the AI community.
