Announcement: Datence Technologies is the First ISAIL Member of the AI Standardisation Alliance in 2025

Statement from ISAIL President Abhivardhan

The year 2025 will be remembered for something ambitious, humbling yet outgrowing for Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law, and the AI Standardisation Alliance/AiStandard.io Alliance.

This is the year when after the approval of the First version of AiStandard.io Alliance Charter - Datence Technologies led by Swastik Grover and Rupal Mathur becomes the first start-up and the first legal tech company from India to join ISAIL in the AiStandard.io Alliance, in line with the Charter of the Alliance, Article 14.

We appreciate Datence's compliance throughout the process, it was lovely for our team, i.e., Sanjay Rohra to Kapil Naresh, the Vice-Presidents of the Alliance to cooperate and help in making this process seemless.

We are capable to help Datence live up the Indian start-up dream, and build better avenues for AI standardisation in India, as they develop specific-purpose legal tech / AI use cases.

Our best wishes to Rupal and Swastik, as things go ahead.

Bogdan Grigorescu is also nominated as Vice-President, Industry and Policy, and now succeeds Sanjay Notani as the Convenor of the ISAIL Advisory Council. Hence, congrats Bogdan. Your mentorship to me personally in my tough times in the foundational years, and your unbridled support to ISAIL will always be remembered, and regarded well.

Aditya Jakki is also appointed as Executive Director, Media for The Bharat Pacific as I step down due to work pressure and being occupied with things.

Lastly, in cooperation with ISAIL Strategic Affairs Committee Chair Vignesh Ram, PhD and Committee Member (Advisory Council) Deepanshu Singh, we will issue a joint statement of the Secretariat and the Strategic Affairs Committee on Artificial Intelligence Sovereignty in India, soon, post-Operation Sindoor.

Thank you for your attention: isail.in/aistandard/alliance.
