His Professional Biography:
My academic and research interests lie at the intersection of AI Governance, AI Policy, Technology Law, AI Ethics, Data Governance, Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, Copyright/IP frameworks for AI-generated content, Geopolitics of AI, International Relations, AI bias in decision making by government and employers, and international governance mechanisms for AI. With a legal background and current postgraduate study in Political Science, I am particularly interested in understanding the legal, regulatory, institutional, and geopolitical dimensions of emerging technologies. My research focuses on questions surrounding responsible AI governance, algorithmic accountability, data protection, AI ethics, and the interaction between technological developments and legal frameworks. I have undertaken research and writing on AI governance and related contemporary legal issues and seek to contribute to interdisciplinary discussions on technology regulation and public policy, particularly from perspectives relevant to the Indian Subcontinent and the Global South.
