CUTS Institute of Regulation and Competition

The CUTS Institute for Regulation & Competition (CIRC) was designated as a Knowledge Partner to ISAIL in December 2025 under the AIStandard.io Alliance Charter. CIRC is a think-tank and capacity-building organization focused on specialized thematic areas including Competition Law & Policy, Digital Economy Regulation, Economic Regulation, Sustainability, and Online Dispute Resolution. The partnership with ISAIL focuses on strengthening research, policy development, and stakeholder engagement in artificial intelligence governance, law, digital markets, and public policy. CIRC contributes to joint research initiatives on AI governance and competition law, AI adoption in digital markets, AI literacy and consumer protection, and AI standardization for MSMEs. The collaboration also includes capacity-building initiatives such as workshops and training sessions to support knowledge development in AI governance and legal frameworks.
