ISAIL Consents to Join BRICS+ AI Alliance as Founding Member

We are delighted to announce that the ISAIL Secretariat has been invited to join the BRICS+ AI Alliance as a Founding Member. This prestigious opportunity will allow us to contribute our expertise in AI standardization to a broader global effort.

As a member of the BRICS+ AI Alliance, ISAIL will actively participate in discussions on AI governance, ethics, and safety. We will collaborate with other leading organizations to develop and promote global standards and guidelines for AI, ensuring that AI is developed and deployed in a way that benefits all stakeholders, particularly in the Global South.

By joining the BRICS+ AI Alliance, ISAIL aims to:

  • Strengthen India's position: Reinforce India's role as a global leader in AI research and development.

  • Foster international cooperation: Collaborate with other emerging economies to promote AI innovation and development.

  • Advance AI for the public good: Contribute to the development of AI that is ethical, responsible, and beneficial for all.

We are excited about the opportunities that this partnership will bring and look forward to working with our fellow members to build a more inclusive and equitable AI ecosystem.
